Every piece of evidence carries a timestamp verified against the server clock, not the device clock. Date, time, and sequence order are cryptographically fixed at the moment of capture. Nothing can be backdated, reordered, or altered.
Each piece of evidence carries a SHA-256 fingerprint of its content. That fingerprint is incorporated into the next item's hash , creating an unbroken chain that links every file in the exact order it was captured.
If any file is deleted, altered or reordered, even a single byte, the entire chain breaks. An expert witness can verify integrity in minutes. The defence cannot selectively remove unfavourable evidence.
